Lavra : Bluenothing CD
Bluenothing, released on Demonosound early 1995, appeared as some kind of oddity between metal and goth. Lavra, formerly known as the doom metal band Sceptical Schizo, had on their debut album taken a turn towards post-punk, shoegazing and goth rock, and promptly changed their name in the process.
Eterne : As the Silence Fades… TAPE
As the Silence Fades… 7″ vinyl, by the British gothic doom duo Eterne, released late 1993, sold out in about nine months. In the meantime the Finnish manufacturer that made the records had quit and sold their equipment to Estonia. Therefore Eterne and Demonosound agreed to reissue the EP on tape with a previously unreleased extra track “Season of Mists”.
Herb Mullin : Arthole TAPE
Herb Mullin was the main alias for the Norwegian noise artist Lasse Marhaug in the early 1990s. Arthole was one of numerous tapes he released, often hailed as one of his best of the period.
Eterne : As the Silence Fades… 7″
Eterne, a gothic rock / doom metal duo from Wales, UK, released the “As the Silence Fades…” 7″ on Demonosound in October 1993.
Kadotus609 : Promotional tape
The tape was the first release with the Demonosound logo (early version) printed on it. However, ‘technically’ it was a Hammer of Damnation production; the Demonosound label would be launched officially later in 1993. HAM004Tape, edition unknown (a couple of dozens according to producer’s fading memory)
