SOME PLACE ELSE Archive serves to preserve and document the activities of the underground experimental record label Some Place Else. We aim to include information on all releases, events, publications, artists and other stuff that took places in and around Some Place Else.
Some Place Else was active from 1997 to 2013. The archive will include an extended timeline reaching back to 1990, documenting various activities that would lay the base for Some Place Else. These include the labels/imprints Demonosound and VoimaKäyrä: Powerwave Unlimited, the zine Hammer of Damnation, a series of newsletters and various other activities by related artists.
The Archive is maintained by PARAFERAL who also care for the offline vault for all related audio recordings, artworks, publications and other documents, as well as the copyrights and licensing thereof.
