DEMONOLOGUÉ – Demonosound Newsletter 3/94 (Autumn)

Demonologue – newsletter 3/1994

The Autumn newsletter continued the outstanding slim format of the previous one. It featured an interview with Lasse Marhaug of Herb Mullin, in part to promote the Arthole tape released in the Spring.

This time the news section brought several all new names and things to light:

The COLDONCETURNINGDUST is a blur project creating ritual-like ambient soundwaves full of tranquil trance atmospheres. Some of their material will be released in time on Demonosound; format, length etc. yet unknown. We’ll make sure you’ll hear more… later.”

THIS EMPTY FLOW are planning to record a few songs for a cassette that will be manufactured and distributed by Demonosound. It is mainly meant to be a promotional release with which THIS EMPTY FLOW are looking for a record deal. The music itself is sad and gloomy with a wide range of influences.”

“At the moment we are negociating with LAVRA to release their debut CD early next year. LAVRA is one of the best bands from our country, they play some seducing kind of goth-doom music with progressive and psychedelic infuences… LAVRA is in a way a continuation to SCEPTICAL SCHIZO, there are many similar elements atmosphere-wise but LAVRA is much less ‘metal’ than SS.”

Also in the news:

ETERNE As the Silence Fades 7″ was sold out (edition 500 copies); re-release on tape with an unreleased extra track scheduled for near future.

The Celtic Winter mini-CD by GRAVELAND, previously cancelled by Demonosound, was released on No Colours Records in Germany.

Newsletter 3/1994 was offset printed in non-standard slim format (10×21 cm), 16 pages, edition of 200 copies.
