Metaorganism is based on — or communicates through — a network of digital and analog devices transmitting information to each other, back and forth. In the system, a minor change in a supposedly insignificant parameter may unexpectedly change the overall course of the sound. Everything affects everything — as above, so below…
I:Baphomet is the first in what is being planned as a series of Metaorganism audio documents.

Furnace is an unlikely yet strangely natural union of no Xivic, renowned sculptor of dark electro-acoustic soundscapes, and Gelsomina, Finland’s most prolific harsh noise artist. The title track, also the main piece on the album, is a live collaboration recorded in late 2006, a grand opus of psychedelic noise with a peculiar ‘kraut’ flavour! In addition to this, both artists created exclusive tracks on their own to complete the album.
New Orthodox Line brings together two of the most notable Russian post-industrial / experimental groups:
“Archaeodermophagia is the musical equivalent of German Expressionism film… only made in Finland. … I would suggest that Archaeodermophagia will appeal to anyone into the whole ‘noise’ spectrum of music whilst it also caters for those more into experimental music in general. There’s much enjoyment to be gained from it no matter what musical faction you ally yourself to. Plus… a blood splattered cover is a unique selling point if nothing else.”
The name Sadalsuud refers to a star of the same name in the constellation of Aquarius. The name comes from an Arabic phrase meaning “the luckiest of them all”. Nevertheless the album is rather earthy-sounding, yet mystical and surreal, almost claustrophobic at times. An unsuspecting pre-listener described Sadalsuud as “a visit to a supposedly haunted house, though only once you’ve entered the house you begin to grasp the real meaning of haunting.”
Mockingwyrd. Not much is known about him/her/them (?) thus far, except vague credits on a number of Finnish experimental releases. It is rumoured that Mockingwyrd is also a bass player in several doom & thrash metal, jazz and experimental groups. Shadowy names like Kaaos in Eccentris, Typhon Sleeps Heavily and Rytannia are repeatedly whispered among the gossip. Reportedly a mysterious bass wizard participating in a recent show by dark-ambient-experimental artist Cosine Nomine was also identified as Mockingwyrd.
The third Ovro album consists of two distinct parts, each independent yet linked to each other, like the snakes of a caduceus. They support and compliment each other and form a new whole, a third being that contains both its makers and in itself is something more. Vipera Aurea is ´coagula´ to Mosaick the Serpent’s ´solve´.
The second live-EP, now available for free download.
The band’s first release, a live-EP that contains the recording of the group’s performance at club Syntesia in Tampere, Finland in January 2006. Here, deep dark ambient soundscapes meet creeping rhythms and ecstatic oriental vibes. This is musical heresy, where the alchemical potential of not playing by the rules or expectations comes abloom. Purists, clinging on to their cherished dogmas in the dust of their crumbling temples, will be itching to burn these heretics alive.
Escape from Heaven is a Manifesto of Liberation, a statement of personal independence from all authorities and the attainment of freedom over one’s destiny, and all that it implies. The music is a hermetic fusion of diverse sample material varying from traditional music from India, Middle East and Western Africa to 80′s thrash metal, flavoured with a selection of field recordings, all welded in alchemical furnace of post-industrial electronica.
